ndrea Le is a rising LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted by her victory at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has won all levels, including Standford University earning 9 wins throughout her college career. She also having 17 weeks of being the top Women's Amateur player throughout the World. After winning the Mark H. McCormack Award for the highest ranked women's amateur worldwide at the conclusion of the 2019 season, Lee turned professional. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native who was born in the month of August, 1998. She started playing golf as a child at age 5 with the help from her dad James. She first began playing in tournaments aged 8 and has won over 50 junior titles over the course of the span of four years. She made the cut at the 2013 US Women's Open, held at Pinehurst No. age 15 along with her dad playing as her caddie. The 15-year-old was given a sponsor's invitation to attend the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but missed the cut by one shot. Lee was a member of the USA as a Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team, and in Women's World Amateur Team Championship. As the first female student at Stanford University, Lee was the most decorated in Stanford's past. Through the three years which followed, she was awarded nine separate championships. Lee was a graduate in 2018 has left Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur years included 17 consecutive weeks that were at the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack medal for 2019 after she finished the year as the highest-ranked amateur. While playing as an amateur, Lee achieved four holes in one and one albatross. The first time she played playing on the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10. She was a seventh-place finisher during the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was able to claim her first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022. This victory was in memory of her grandpa who passed away Min. He called me champions, and believed in me.
